The school is an English medium, co-educational Day school, affiliated to the Central Board for Secondary Education, New Delhi under the 10+2 pattern. It is also recognized by the government of Uttar Pradesh. The school imparts education through a curriculum which is designed to promote holistic expansion by acquiring linguistic and logical abilities and by nurturing students’ potential through an appropriately paced learning. The prime objective is to equip the students with appropriate knowledge, varied skills,enhanced aptitude and humane values.
The Preprimary Classes emphasize on hands on learning, where children are involved in a number of activities based on conceptual learning programmes to bring out the best in the toddlers. The curriculum is carefully planned and well interwoven with the academic development to form a firm base for the formal schooling in the later years.
The Primary School curriculum is an ideal blend of activities based on academies, co-curricular activities and sports, aiming towards the holistic growth of the students. The comprehensive and balanced curriculum well matches the educational needs of the students
The Middle School curriculum promotes a more focused academic rigour, coupled with literary, oratory and performing skills development by exposing them to various competitions at all levels with schools in India and abroad. The target is to enable the students to gain the necessary life skills for their personal as well as professional growth.
The curriculum is well-planned and graded as per the guidelines of CBSE. It provides the students with the choice of subjects under the streams of Science, Commerce & Humanities giving them an opportunity to perform in their areas of interest. The carefully crafted curriculum with the resources provided lay emphasis on an enquiry-based learning, problem-solving, strategies and application of life skills for nonstop learning.
Pupils absent from examination without any substantive reason will be considered as having failed. Pupils absent from any examination will not be re-examined. Malpractice will be penalized by detention. Parents should examine the progress report carefully and see that their wards make a special effort to study those subjects in which they are weak. A pupil who failed twice in the same class or two times within three consecutive years will not be permitted to continue his/her studies. Parents has specially requested to read the rules carefully and see that they are followed.
ICES also known as International Centre English School . The school was established in 1970. International Centre English School is a Co-Ed school affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) . It is managed by International Centre Society.
